Quest carry out reverse circulation (RC) drilling to provide a high quality sample with minimal contamination and high recovery.  We design and build our own RC tools to improve recovery and hole stability in friable and gravel formations, including a complete RC system for carrying out 100 metre horizontal holes in gravel beds for ground control.  We have also designed and created a heli-portable RC rig and compressor system for 120 metre holes, capable of being broken down to 400kg components and rapidly re-built to allow high mobility in mountainous terrain with no infrastructure.

Although the technique has been in decline in recent years, we can also offer Rapid Air Blast (RAB) drilling.
